You can download a copy of your personal data from Fortis Pulse at any time — your profile, your company record, your notifications, and your push notification settings — as a single JSON file. This is useful when you want a copy for your own records, or when your advisor or a compliance contact asks what data Fortis Pulse holds about you.
💡 Tip — Who can use this Every signed-in user can download their own data from Settings. Each person downloads only their own data — nobody else's.
Quick reference
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Open Settings from the app |
| 2 | Find the Danger zone card and click Download my data |
Step 1 — Open Settings
Click the Settings item in your dashboard navigation. You'll land on your Settings page with your company profile, and the Danger zone card sits at the bottom of the Profile tab.

Step 2 — Click "Download my data"
In the Danger zone card, click Download my data. Your browser downloads a file called fortispulse-my-data.json immediately — nothing is sent to your advisor or anyone else.

📝 Note — What's inside the file The download contains your profile details, your company record as Fortis Pulse knows it, your in-app notifications, and your push notification settings. It's a machine-readable JSON file — open it in any text editor. Business records your company keeps in Fortis Pulse (submissions, scores, advisory logs, documents) belong to your company and are managed by your advisory team.
⚠️ Warning — Keep the file safe The export includes your account details. Store it somewhere secure and don't forward it casually.
