You can delete your Fortis Pulse account yourself, at any time. Deleting your account erases your personal data — your profile, sign-in, notifications, and push settings — while your company's business records (submissions, scores, advisory logs, documents) stay with your company so its history is not lost.
💡 Tip — Who can use this Every signed-in user can delete their own account. If you want to remove your whole company from Fortis Pulse instead, that's a different process — contact your advisory firm.

Step 1 — Open Settings and find the Danger zone
Click Settings in your dashboard navigation and scroll to the Danger zone card at the bottom of the Profile tab.
📝 Note — Download your data first If you'd like a copy of your data before erasure, click Download my data in the same card first. Once your account is deleted, your personal data cannot be restored.
Step 2 — Type DELETE to confirm
Deletion is permanent, so it needs an unmistakable confirmation. Type the word DELETE into the confirmation box — the Delete my account button unlocks only when the word matches.
Step 3 — Click "Delete my account"
Click Delete my account. Your account is erased, you're signed out immediately, and you'll see a confirmation screen.
❗ Important — If you're the only user of your company Your company's records in Fortis Pulse are kept even after your account is erased. If you're the only user, your company is simply deactivated as part of the deletion — unless the company still has an active paid subscription. In that case you'll see a message explaining the subscription needs handling first: message your advisory partner in the app or contact support, and they'll either add another user or deactivate the company so you can finish deleting your account.
⚠️ Warning — This cannot be undone Deleting your account erases your sign-in, profile, notifications, and push settings permanently. Your name is also removed from your company's historical records. There is no way to restore a deleted account — download your data first if you want a copy.
