Step 1 — Check your plan and tier
Click Settings in the sidebar, then open the Usage & Billing tab. At the top you'll see your Current Plan — your tier name and subscription status.

Your tier badge also appears in the header next to your organization name on every page, so you can always tell which plan you're on at a glance.
📝 Note — The tiers Fortis Pulse offers several tiers that unlock more features as you go up: Trial (free, time-limited), then paid plans Access, Partner, and Executive. Higher tiers add capabilities like document sharing, the Pulse AI deep-dive, decision velocity tracking, benchmark comparisons, board-ready reports, and full history. Some features are only available from a certain tier upward — you'll see an upgrade prompt when you reach one that isn't included in your plan.
💡 Tip — Firm-sponsored plans If your advisory firm sponsors your account, you'll see a "Plan Managed by Your Firm" notice instead of upgrade options. Plan changes and top-ups are handled through your firm — contact them to adjust your tier.
Want more features?
If your tier doesn't include a feature you need, you can upgrade from the same Usage & Billing tab. See our guide on upgrading your plan for the step-by-step.
