Your company can bring in outside advisors — an accountant, a fractional CFO, a consultant — and give them a complete view of your Pulse data. An invited partner sees everything for your company only (all pillars, all periods), never your advisor firm's other clients, and you can remove their access at any time.
💡 Tip — Who can use this Anyone in your company with access to the dashboard can send and manage partner invitations. The number of partners you can have depends on your plan — the Partners page always shows how many seats you've used ("2 of 6 partner seats used").
Quick reference
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Open the Partners page from the sidebar |
| 2 | Enter the advisor's email and click Invite Partner |
| 3 | Wait for them to accept (or Resend / Revoke the invite) |
| 4 | Remove a partner anytime to end their access |
Step 1: Open the Partners page
In the sidebar, click Partners (below Documents). This page is home for everything about advisor access to your company: your seat count, the partners who currently have access, and any invitations you've sent that are still waiting to be accepted.

Step 2: Send the invitation
Type the advisor's email address into the box and click Invite Partner. They'll receive an email with a personal invitation link. When they open it, they can sign in with that email address — or create their account right there — and your company is added to their partner workspace automatically.
You'll see: the invitation moves into Pending invitations, where it shows its expiry date.

⚠️ Warning — Invitations expire after 7 days If your advisor doesn't accept within a week, the link stops working. No need to start over — click Resend and they'll get a fresh link with a new 7-day window.
❗ Important — The email address is the access key The invitation must be accepted by signing in with the exact email you sent it to. If your advisor already uses Pulse as a client or administrator on another email, invite their partner email address — one account can't be both.
Step 3: Watch the invitation (and the seat count)
While an invitation is pending, it holds one of your plan's partner seats. On the Partners page you can:
- Resend — issue a fresh link (the old one stops working).
- Revoke — cancel the invitation entirely. The link dies immediately.
Once they accept, they move into the Partners with access list and you'll get a notification confirming it.
Step 4: Remove a partner when the engagement ends
Next to any partner labelled Invited by your company, click Remove. Their access ends immediately — they can no longer open your company from their partner workspace. Their own account isn't deleted, and anything they wrote for you (such as advisory log entries) stays part of your history.
📝 Note — Two kinds of partners on this page Partners invited by your company show "Invited by your company" and can be removed by you. Partners assigned by your advisory firm show the firm's name and are managed by the firm — if one of those should change, contact your firm.
