When a pillar or your overall score shows a coverage badge like "Partial data" or "No data submitted," it's telling you the score can't be fully calculated because some inputs are missing. This guide explains what each badge means and how to get a complete score.

Quick reference
| Badge | Meaning | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Full | All inputs submitted | None |
| Partial data | Some inputs missing | Complete the missing fields |
| No data submitted | No inputs for the period | Submit your data |
What the badges mean
Scores are computed from the metrics you enter on the Submit Data page. Each pillar depends on specific fields. The coverage badge reflects how complete those inputs are:
- Full — every metric the pillar needs was submitted. The score is as accurate as it can be.
- Partial data — at least one metric was missing. The score is still calculated, but from fewer inputs, so it's less complete. A note explains that the score is based on what was available.
- No data submitted — nothing was submitted for the period, so there's no score to show. The pillar simply displays "No data."
📝 Note — Missing pillars don't drag down your composite Your composite (overall) score only averages the pillars that have data. A pillar with no data is excluded from the calculation rather than counted as zero — so a missing pillar won't artificially tank your overall score. But it does mean your overall score is based on fewer areas.
💡 Tip — Submit complete data for accuracy To get the truest picture, submit all the metrics a pillar needs. The Submit Data wizard's Review step shows a coverage preview that warns you which pillars will be partial or empty based on what you've entered — use it to catch gaps before you submit.
