The "What Changed" section on your Executive Overview shows how your key numbers have moved compared to the previous period — revenue, margin, cash balance, and your composite score, each with an up or down arrow. It's the quickest way to see at a glance whether you're trending better or worse than last month.

Step 1 — Read the What Changed section
On your Executive Overview, the What Changed section shows a row of cards, each comparing a key metric to the previous period:
- Revenue — up or down versus last period.
- Gross Profit Margin — direction of change.
- Operating Cash Balance — direction of change.
- Composite Score — whether your overall health score improved, declined, or held steady.
Each card shows the current value and an arrow indicating the direction of change, so you can scan the row and immediately spot what moved.
📝 Note — It compares consecutive periods The comparison is always against the immediately preceding period that has data. If you switch the period selector, the "What Changed" section updates to compare that period against the one before it.
💡 Tip — Pair it with the flags If a metric dropped in the What Changed section, check the Flags & Actions page — a decline often coincides with a new flag that explains why.
