Fortis Pulse keeps you informed with in-app notifications and, where it matters, emails. The notification bell in the header shows when something needs your attention — a new advisory publication, a session proposal, a document upload, or a message. This guide covers reading and clearing them.

Quick reference
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Read notifications from the bell |
Step 1 — Read your notifications
Click the notification bell in the top-right header. A panel drops down listing your recent notifications, each with a title, a short body, a timestamp, and an unread indicator. The bell also shows a count badge of unread items when there's something new.
You'll be notified about things like:
- Your advisory commentary being published for a period.
- A partner proposing, confirming, rescheduling, or cancelling a session.
- A document being uploaded or replaced in your shared workspace.
- A new message from a partner.
To clear the unread indicators, click Mark all read. The badge count updates and the unread dots disappear.
📝 Note — Some events also send emails For time-sensitive or important events (like a partner replying to your message), Fortis Pulse may send an email in addition to the in-app notification. Partner emails on client messages are batched to avoid flooding your inbox — you won't get more than one per thread every few hours. You can always see the full history in the bell.
