Quick reference
| Step | Action |

| 1 | Use the inline status dropdown on a decision row |
Step 1 — Update a status
On the Decision Tracker, each decision row has an inline status dropdown. Click it and choose the new status:
- Pending — not yet started.
- In Progress — being worked on.
- Implemented — completed and in effect.
- Abandoned — decided against or dropped.
The change saves immediately and updates your completion rate and velocity metrics.
📝 Note — Status feeds decision velocity Your on-time percentage and cycle time depend on decisions moving to "Implemented" (or "Abandoned") by their deadline. Keeping statuses current gives you an accurate velocity read.
💡 Tip — Mark decisions Implemented promptly When a decision is actually in effect, mark it Implemented right away rather than leaving it In Progress. Delayed status updates understate how decisively your organization moves.
