If a pillar or your overall score shows "No data" or "Partial data," it means the metrics behind that score weren't submitted for the period. This isn't an error — it's Fortis Pulse telling you the score can't be calculated because the inputs are missing. Here's how to fix it.

Why scores show "No data"

Scores are computed from the metrics you enter on the Submit Data page. Each pillar depends on specific fields:

  • Focus needs your strategic priorities (rocks) and revenue targets.
  • Operations needs delivery on-time and issue resolution metrics.
  • Results needs revenue, margin, and cash data.
  • Transformation needs your initiatives data.
  • Intelligence needs initiative completion and decision data.
  • Systems needs people/retention metrics (attrition, tenure, etc.).

If none of a pillar's required fields were submitted, that pillar shows No data and isn't included in your composite score. If some were submitted but others were missing, it shows Partial data — the score is calculated from what's available, but it's less complete.

How to fix it

  1. Go to Submit Data in the sidebar.
  2. Pick the period that's showing "No data."
  3. Fill in the missing fields — the submission wizard groups them by pillar, so you can see which sections are incomplete.
  4. The Review & Submit step shows a coverage preview that warns you which pillars will still be partial or empty based on what you've entered.
  5. Submit when the data is complete.

💡 Tip — Optional fields still matter Some fields in the People and Operational steps are marked optional, but they drive the Systems and Intelligence pillars. If you skip them, those pillars will show partial or no data. Filling them in gives you a fuller picture.
