💡 Tip — Who can use this Available to clients managing their own billing, under Settings → Usage & Billing.
Quick reference
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Use the payment processor's portal to update |
Step 1 — Update your payment method
Go to Settings → Usage & Billing. If your subscription is past due, you'll see a red banner with an Update Payment Method button. Click it to open your payment processor's secure portal, where you can update your card or payment details.
If you're not past due but want to change your method proactively, use the Manage Subscription link to reach the same processor portal.
📝 Note — Payment details are handled by the processor Fortis Pulse doesn't store your card details — they're managed securely by the payment processor (Stripe, Paystack, etc., depending on your currency). Updates happen on their portal, not inside Fortis Pulse directly.
⚠️ Warning — Past due can lead to inactive If you leave a subscription past due for too long, Fortis Pulse will eventually move the account to inactive, which restricts access. Update your payment method promptly when you see the past-due notice to avoid interruption.
💡 Tip — Firm-sponsored clients contact their firm If your plan is firm-sponsored, you won't see payment options — your firm handles billing. Contact them if there's a payment issue.
