When emails are sent
Most notifications are in-app only (the bell). Emails are sent for higher- priority or time-sensitive events:
- Partner replies to your message — you always get an email so you don't miss a response.
- Advisory published — you're notified in-app (and the publication may trigger an email depending on settings).
- Session proposals, confirmations, reschedules, and cancellations — in-app notifications.
📝 Note — Partner emails are batched When you message your partner, they don't necessarily get an email for every message — partner emails are batched (at most one per thread every few hours) to avoid inbox flooding. Replies from partners to you, however, always email.
💡 Tip — Check the bell for the full picture Emails are a subset of what's happening. For the complete, real-time view of all activity, check the notification bell in the app — it captures everything, whether or not an email was sent.
