Each pillar on your dashboard has a score — but the why behind that score is where the insight is. Pulse AI can write you a deep-dive analysis of any pillar on demand, explaining what's driving the score and what to do about it. This guide shows you how to generate one.
💡 Tip — Who can use this Pillar deep-dives are available on Partner and Executive tiers. They need a scored pillar (you must have submitted data for the period).

Step 1 — Start from your Executive Overview
When you sign in, you land on the Executive Overview. Scroll to the pillars section — you'll see a card for each scored area (Focus, Operations, Results, Transformation, Intelligence, Systems) with its current score and a one-line summary.
Step 2 — Open a pillar's detail view
Click any pillar card to open its detail panel.
The detail view shows:
- What this pillar measures — a plain-language explanation of the area.
- Your score with a health band (Excellent / Good / Warn / Critical).
- Score drivers this period — the specific metrics and flags moving the score up or down, with actuals vs. targets.
- A Generate Pulse AI Deep-Dive button (at the bottom).
Step 3 — Generate the AI analysis
Click Generate Pulse AI Deep-Dive. Pulse AI studies your scores, the underlying metrics, and the period's flags, then writes a tailored analysis.
After a few moments you'll see a written diagnosis of what's driving this pillar's score, grounded in your actual submission data, with a "Generated" timestamp. The deep-dive is cached, so reopening the same pillar shows the same analysis until you regenerate.
💡 Tip — Regenerate for a fresh take If you've submitted new data or just want a new analysis, click Regenerate (next to the section heading). This discards the cached analysis and produces a new one.
📝 Note — Deep-dives are per-pillar, per-period Switching the period dropdown at the top of the dashboard shows that period's pillars — generate a deep-dive for any of them the same way.
⚠️ Warning — No data, no deep-dive If a pillar has no submitted data for the period, the Generate button is replaced by a note explaining deep-dives need at least some inputs.
